A published author by the time he was 17, he later became an editor at the nationally acclaimed Providence Journal-Bulletin. He is the author of five books, and articles by him have appeared in American History Illustrated, Yankee, Fate, Pursuit, Academic Computing, other national magazines and many New England newspapers. New River Press is a family
business founded in 1990. In recent years, commercial book publishing has
become our mainstay, and we are very proud of our hand-picked authors and
growing list of unusual books. New River Press titles are handled by the two largest book
distributors in the world, Ingram Book Company and Baker & Taylor Books. New River Press is especially unusual because it's a cottage industry: Everyone works from home. Thanks to today's instant communications, it's a great system that spares our people the usual office vs. family strains. |
